The United Kingdom's economy is based on the service sector that makes 79% of the country's GDP. In particular, service sector is the most important for the United Kingdom. Unlike service sector the growth of the industrial sector slowed down significantly and amounted to only 10% of the GDP. Construction volumes also declined in 2017 and currently makes up only 6% of the GDP.
The ambiguity related to Brexit holds back investments growth short-term, however, in case of the soft Brexit, the growth will recover.
